Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple and serial entrepreneur, died on 5th October at age 56. I doubt there are many people on this planet who have not been touched by his brilliance in one form or another. And so this week's post is a salute to this driven man who lived each day as though it was his last, and to the company that he is most closely associated with - Apple.Apple by FUNKY ARTPink Apple Ring by Hand Over Your Fairy CakesWooden Apple Decoration by BusyblackbirdGreen apple by Woolly DuckApple Ornament by Amy's Clay CrittersApple Bag Charm by DollydooKaleidescope Citrus Rainbow Printed Leather I Phone 3G/3GS/4G HTC Desire Sleeve by Magpie AccessoriesStay Hungry Stay Foolish - A4 Giclee art print by TheftyThe following image was designed by Chris Thornley (aka Raid 71), who has fought his own battle with cancer. This sums up more than anything I've seen just how an iconic brand has been so linked to one man's genius.Image by Chris Thornley aka Raid71And I leave you with the words of Steve Jobs himself, taken from the 2005 commencement address to Stanford University students a year after he was diagnosed with cancer.Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
